My Experience

Here are some of the most impactful experiences that have shaped my career.

Lantern Health

Lead Product Manager

Built and executed the 0→1 product and technology roadmap for Cancer Care, enabling 260% client growth (10 to 36) and a 12x patient expansion (130K to 1.6M). Led integrations, UX, reporting, and claims ingestion, ensuring technology scaled with demand.

Automated patient payments, replacing a manual, unscalable workflow with Onbe’s platform. Nurses can now reload branded debit cards instantly via internal apps, eliminating PayPal, cutting finance overhead, and saving 300 labor hours/month.

Expanded access for 1.5M callers by overhauling Enterprise IVR, introducing Spanish support and extended service hours.

Championed voice-of-customer feedback loops and aligned roadmap with patient and enterprise buyer needs nationally; partnered across design, sales, marketing, and implementation to deliver on roadmap.

Led build-vs-buy analysis for patient mobile app and internal web app, shifting to an off-the-shelf solution that cut costs by 87% ($1.3M savings) and accelerated deployment.

01

Business-Driven Product Leadership

I don’t just build products—I drive profitability & growth ($30M EBITDA, $1.3M cost savings). Whether a new or mature product, I relentlessly focus on eliminating bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and improving the customer experience (hundreds of labor hours saved/month, 70% reduction in billing time).

02

AI, ML & Data Expertise

Unlike many PMs who “work with AI,” I actually shape and deploy ML-driven solutions. I understand neural networks, NoSQL, NLP, and deep learning, making me a technical leader who translates complex AI into real-world business value–and parse through the noise.

03

Entrepreneurial, End-to-End Execution

I build & scale products from 0→1 to enterprise level (10x growth at Lantern, Kroger). I roll up my sleeves to make initiatives succeed—whether it’s designing debit cards or writing website copy when short on marketers. I’m known as a builder who rallies teams to deliver ambitious results—without a scorched earth approach.

04

Expert-Level UX & Research

Graduate-trained in UX & research (LSHTM), applying deep quant & qual methods to shape high-impact, user-centric products. Designers love working with me, not just my engineering partners.

05

Focused Leadership & Communication

Focused Leadership & Communication

I set a clear vision and remove ambiguity, ensuring engineers and designers understand not just what we’re building, but why it matters. My attention to detail strengthens execution, while my ability to distill complexity keeps teams focused.

About Me

I have spent over 12 years solving complex healthcare problems, identifying where technology can bridge gaps, improve efficiency, and drive scale. I have led the launch of large-scale population health solutions and am passionate about removing barriers so clinicians can focus on what they do best—delivering patient care.

My career spans health tech startups in D.C., NYC, and Silicon Valley, where I’ve taken on both managerial and principal product management roles. I have built products in B2B2C healthcare environments, designing tools for clinicians and care teams that directly impact patient experiences, as well as contributing to consumer-facing healthcare solutions. I have also worked on cutting edge technologies, training neural networks and building machine learning products to deliver solutions to hospital administrators.

I have worked at companies including Evolent Health, a Pharmacy Benefits Manager startup, Truepill, and Kroger Health. I started my career in public sector consulting, designing solutions for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and have deep experience in both the U.S. and U.K. health systems.

I hold a B.A. in chemistry (Phi Beta Kappa) and an M.Sc. in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I live in North Carolina with my family.

Danielle is one the most powerhouse product managers I’ve ever worked with. She’s the definition of a “honeybadger” in the best way. Relentless, sharp, and completely unshakable. If she’s on a project, you can be absolutely certain it’s going to be done right, down to the last detail.

What sets Danielle apart is how deeply she learns her product and business space. She doesn’t just skim the surface. She digs in, questions assumptions, and makes sure every decision is backed by real insight. If something’s off, she’ll call it out. If someone’s misguided, she’ll correct them. She doesn’t waste time on fluff or half-baked thinking. She gets straight to the point and makes things better.

Above all, Danielle operates with a level of integrity and thoroughness that’s rare. She holds herself and everyone around her to a high standard, and she delivers every single time. If you want a PM who will own it, drive it, and ensure it’s done right, she’s the one you want. I’d work with her again in a heartbeat

Courtny Cotten

Director of Product Design, Microsoft

I can’t say enough great things about Danielle. She's a fantastic product leader, passionate about her work. We had so many great discussions and brainstorm sessions about design. It was great to work with someone who truly cares (really!) about creating a good design experience. In addition, she's just a genuinely very thoughtful and lovely person, which makes her a great working partner. I would work with her again without question, and I’m hoping we will.
